Support STEM Education in Buckeye Union Schools!
Parent and community participation in the Buckeye Education Foundation has dwindled and the financial support the district has enjoyed from Foundation fundraising may not continue past this year.
We are looking for the next group of parents to carry the torch and see that Buckeye Union continues to be able to provide for our students the best possible experiences, experiences that are impossible to deliver without the additional funding provided by the Foundation.
Your children benefit from schools staffed with Library Associates and P.E. Teachers. They benefit from technology in the classroom. Since 2009, these programs have been made possible by the funds raised by the Buckeye Education Foundation.
We would like to ensure that our students experience the best possible programs in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). STEM education is as important as ever for our children to be able to excel in the 21st Century economy.
We are inviting parents and community members to spend an evening learning about the Foundation and your role in supporting the District as it transitions to the new Next Generation Science Standards in the coming years.

Smarter Balanced Assessment Results
The District anticipates the District will receive Smarter Balanced student reports in the next 14 days. Once received, the District will mail these results to each student's home. We hope to have these reports mailed by the end of September depending upon how quickly they are received from the State. Parent guides for understanding score reports and the nature of these new assessments can be found at this link:
Should you have any questions regarding your student's results, once they are received, please contact your child's teacher.
