Weekly Email (10/25/2024)

Hello Brooks Families,

Happy Friday!!!  We have had another wonderful week of learning at Brooks.  Please read below for some important information:

• 10/29-Coffee with the Superintendent, Dr. Roth, at 9 am in the staff lounge.  All families are invited to have a cup of coffee and visit with our superintendent, Dr. Roth.
• 10/31-Halloween Parade- We will have our annual Halloween Parade immediately following the morning announcements at 9:00.  Families are invited to come watch the parade. Students may wear Halloween costumes to school on this day.  Please keep in mind we are a TK-5th grade school, so no bloody or gory costumes.  Students are not allowed to wear masks or bring weapons.  
• 11/1-No School-Students will not have school due to a district in-service day.  Enjoy the three-day weekend.
• 11/7- Parent Education Night from 6:00-8:00 pm, Parenting in the Digital World,  hosted by Oak Meadow and William Brooks PTA.  This is a free event for our William Brooks families to come learn about online safety for your children.  The event will be held in the Oak Meadow MP room.  We hope to see you there.  Please see the attached flier for more details.

Let’s show our Brooks staff how much we appreciate them with a Baked Potato Bar on November 6! Please sign up HERE and bring all items to the office by 10:00 am on 11/6. BROOKS ORCHARD UPDATE

Work on the Brooks Orchard is going strong!  If you would still like to be a part of the “Fund the Trees” donation, we are accepting donations through Friday, November 1st.  Complete your donation form (extra copies are in the office) or donate online HERE.

ONLINE BOOK FAIR OPEN

Did the book your child wanted sell out? No worries- shop our Online Book Fair through November 2nd to find the titles we had on sale at the fair and many more! 

HARVEST CARNIVAL- THANK YOU

We hope everyone had a great time at the Harvest Carnival! The PTA would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped plan this event, volunteered during the event, and/or donated treats. We would also like to thank our sponsors MV Estates, Little Chef’s World, and Pediatric Dental Specialists!
