Hello Brooks Families,

Happy Friday!!!  We have had another wonderful week of learning at Brooks.  Please read below for some important information:

• 9/23-9/27- Parent/Teacher Conference Week.  We will have minimum days next week for 1st-5th grades.  School will be out at 1:07.  TK and kindergarten will follow their regular schedules.

We hope everyone has a restful weekend.  We will see you all on Monday!

CHICK-FIL-A DINE OUT

Join us for a Dine-out night on Tuesday, 9/24 at Chick-fil-A! *Mobile orders only* Place a drive-thru, dine in, or carry-out order through the app, and enter the organization code “SPIRIT”. The PTA will receive 20% back on all qualifying orders! 

 

GARDEN EVENT

Please join us Monday, 9/30 at 3:12 pm for an after school garden event open to all. We will be celebrating Farm to Fork month with a local beekeeper to talk about the importance of bees and sample honey. We will also be foraging and planting seeds.

 

JOG-A-THON SUCCESS!

Great work at the Jog-a-thon! We raised over $31,000 to go towards classroom enrichment, art and garden programs, assemblies, STEAM lab, and more! Students earned the BMX Stunt Show Assembly, which will be held on September 30th!

 

SPOOKY ALLEY HELPERS NEEDED!

The Harvest Carnival Planning Team is still looking for parent volunteers to help set up Spooky Alley, a fun tradition at the Carnival.Please email Ronni Chiusano (ronni.chiusano@gmail.com) if you can help and/ or join us at the next Harvest Carnival planning meeting on Thursday, September 26 at 4:00 pm in room 20 (near the garden).
